Time Management in Sustainable Development within the Organization

Salem bin Ali bin Ahmed Al-Abuhashem Al-Qahtani presented a study on the impact of time management on sustainable development within the organization at the Gate Academy celebration:

Introduction

Sustainable development, with its economic, social, and environmental dimensions, has become the prevailing development model today. It aims to achieve economic and social development while preserving environmental balance. Countries worldwide are striving to achieve sustainable development goals to overcome environmental risks and meet the economic and social needs of current generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Due to the connection between time and personal and professional life, it has gained significant importance as a crucial resource that should be effectively managed and utilized. The better an individual can control their time, the more successful their life management becomes. Therefore, individuals are responsible for managing their lives, whether on a personal level or within an organization. Time is linked to work, whether administrative, economic, or service-oriented. It is considered one of the five most critical resources in business, along with materials, information, personnel, and financial resources. Consequently, it requires good management because it is not a renewable resource and cannot be replaced by another.

Since time is one of the most important means that play a crucial role in sustainable development, this study aims to demonstrate the impact of time management on achieving sustainable development goals within the organization.
